It’s almost here. The 58th annual showdown between the top American Football teams, the 2024 American National Football League’s Super Bowl takes place this month and will broadcast live, exclusively across Africa on ESPN (Dstv 218, Starsat 248) and on ESPN2 (DStv 249) from 1:30 AM (CAT) on Monday 12 February 2024.
One of the most celebrated events on the U.S. sporting calendar, the annual championship game that will see the league’s top franchises competing to hold the coveted Vince Lombardi Trophy, will be repeated later in the day. On ESPN2, there will be rull repeats at 08:00 and 20:00, with a 14:00 slot scheduled for ESPN. A highlights package will air later in the week with broadcast slots to be confirmed. ESPN Africa has announced an exciting addition to its programming for sports fans across the continent as it has secured the broadcast rights to Japan RugbyLeague One (Division 1). Adding to its diverse variety of programming for rugby enthusiasts to enjoy, this exhilarating new league kicked off on ESPN recently and will run for the next six months, leading up to the finals in May 2024.
The Japan RugbyLeague One has 25 foreign players from seven different countries who participated at the 2023 Rugby World Cup, competing in the 2023/24 season of this prestigious league.
