Mishkah Roman-Cassiem is the Founder, Editor and Curator of Mzansi Life & Style. She was born in Cape Town and relocated to Johannesburg in 2003. She has an Honours degree in Social Science, majoring in Industrial Sociology from the University of Cape Town, coupled with a Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising with specialisation in Copywriting, from the A.A.A. School of Advertising in Cape Town. She also has a PR Certificate from Damelin, Johannesburg and is currently completing another Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management via IMM.

Mishkah has been involved in the media, film and television industries since 1997, in various roles, and has worked for a number of diverse companies. She was the Assistant Producer of the SABC1 show, “Spirit Sundae”,  that was broadcast to Mzansi’s largest audience, on Sundays at 10h00. She was in this role for 8 years and has met, and worked with, an array of remarkable South African personalities and celebrities, which she sourced as guests. She also produced and directed numerous inserts for the show. All of this, culminated in her establishing Mzansi Life & Style.

During office hours, she works in Marketing and Communications for a major South African bank.
