Boyz II Men – South African Tour

Leading event organiser G21 Entertainment, together with Vertex Events, has announced South African show dates for the legendary super group Boyz II Men, happening later this year.

 The tour will kick off in Cape Town on Tuesday, the 31st of October 2023 at the Grand Arena, GrandWest followed by Pretoria at the SunBet Arena, Time Square on Thursday, 2nd of November, concluding in North West at the Superbowl in Sun City on Saturday, the 4th November 2023.

Tiny Beautiful Things on Disney+

Disney+ released the key art and trailer for the upcoming original limited series “Tiny Beautiful Things” starring Kathryn Hahn and produced by ABC Signature and Hello Sunshine. All eight episodes of the series will be available on Friday, 7 April exclusively on Disney+ in South Africa.

Based on the best-selling collection by Cheryl Strayed, “Tiny Beautiful Things” follows Clare (Kathryn Hahn), a floundering writer who becomes a revered advice columnist while her own life is falling apart.

When we first meet Clare, her marriage to her husband Danny is barely limping along; her teenage daughter, Rae, is pushing her away; and her once-promising writing career is non-existent. So when an old writing pal asks her to take over as the advice columnist Dear Sugar, she thinks she has no business giving anyone advice. After reluctantly taking on the mantle of Sugar however, Clare’s life unfurls in a complex fabric of memory, exploring her most pivotal moments from childhood through present day, and excavating the beauty, struggle, and humor in her unhealed wounds. Milan based Fashion heritage brand, DOLCE AND GABBANA’S SPRING/SUMMER 2023 show was a stunning affair that left attendees in awe of the brand’s innovative and unique approach to fashion. The runway show featured over 75 stunning looks, each one more impressive than the last. But it wasn’t just the fashion that impressed the audience, it was also the star-studded guest list that included some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. So, it goes without saying that having TYLA sitting front row was an incredible moment! It was TYLA’s first-ever fashion debut, and she did it big! DOLCE AND GABBANA seated South African rising pop star TYLA front row right next to global icons Kim Kardashian and J Balvin. She attended the show wearing a vintage archived look from the early 90s. 

The photos of her seated next to Kim Kardashian were shared widely on social media, further cementing her status as a rising pop star. Tyla broke the internet with her jaw-dropping avant-garde look for the show which garnered attention from new fans worldwide. She had everyone stunned by her beauty with many asking on TikTok “Who is that girl next to Kim?”

E! Africa’s “Celebrity Game Night” comes to Universal+ this April

Team Sayari on National Geographic Wild

Following a successful launch and enthusiastic reception, viewers can look forward to more adventures in the natural world with episodes premiering on the channel every Saturday at 13:00 (CAT) / 14:00 (EAT) from 4 March 2023.

The first of its kind, this authentic African children’s programme aims to encourage viewers to engage in conservation of Africa’s vast biodiversity and natural resources. Led by the programme’s goals to inspire curiosity, ignite positive behaviour change and nurture environmental champions, studio hosts Mysha Hodson (15), Marita Lucas (14), Shanah Manjeru (16), Railey Mwai (12) and Adarsh Nagda (14) commence each episode in the Sayari Basecamp where a gigantic tree, with a textured trunk named Funzi imparts knowledge about the environment and gives the team various challenges on which to embark.
