In case you didn’t know, the Goliath and Goliath Comedy Club now also has an additional venue in Braamfontein, in Johannesburg, downstairs at the Bannister Hotel, and this was the venue for the showcase.
I saw the movie version of Rock of Ages back in 2012. It starred Tom Cruise at Stacee Jaxx, Julianne Hough as Sherrie Christian and Alec Baldwin as Dennis Dupree.
Now, the theatre production of Rock of Ages is currently on at the Lyric Theatre at Gold Reef City in Johannesburg, and I attended the media preview last week.
I’ve always loved a good make-over show, so I was delighted to hear that E! Entertainment’s local version of “How Do I Look?” will be starting this week on DSTV channel 124.
I attended the launch event last week at the Diamond Walk in Sandton City. The trend these days, it seems, it so have launches along side expensive boutiques in the walkway of malls, with the chairs and screens erected, plus a lounge vibe created with luxurious couches and bubbly.
