Leading the charge is Sinners, the latest Filmed For IMAX title, which released at all Ster-Kinekor IMAX locations nationally on Friday, 18 April. Sinners is a suspense-filled, supernatural horror film that transports viewers into a world of dark secrets, high drama and stunning visuals. Twin brothers, trying to leave their troubled lives behind, return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back. Church baddie Letsatsi has spent years designing wedding dresses while waiting for the perfect man God has in store for her. When her younger sister receives a marriage proposal, she becomes desperate. Her meticulously planned life, which should have included a husband by now, is not unfolding as she expected.
Lorraine Moropa (Guilt, Hope, Ikani) stars as Letsatsi, with Lulama Nyembezi (The Queen, House of Zwide) as Thimothi, a former believer who turned bad boy after experiencing church hurt. Moagi Kai is Mhlonishwa, a fellow Christian who Letsatsi believes is her answered prayer.
