Mahindra Fusion Fest: A Unique Celebration of Music and Fashion

Mahindra South Africa is set to make history with the inaugural Fusion Fest, an extraordinary festival that will bring together the best of music, fashion and motoring, taking place on Saturday, 22nd February 2025 at the iconic SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria. 

Marking a significant milestone in Mahindra’s journey, the brand is celebrating their two decades of forging strong connections with its South African customers as they enter the third decade of partnerships in the country. The Mahindra Fusion Fest is kicking off these festivities.

At the heart of the festival are four electrifying fusion performances that will push creative boundaries and blend musical genres like never before. Experience Tyla’s Epic Concert on Showmax and DStv from 30 January 2025

  • Tyla’s sold-out concert, which streamed live on Showmax on 18 January 2025, will be available to millions more on demand on Showmax from 30 January in celebration of Tyla’s birthday, and on DStv’s Mzansi Wethu from 1 February 2025

  • A showcase of African talent: The event marked a new chapter in connecting African artists with fans, combining live streaming and traditional broadcast.

On Saturday, 18 January 2025, Showmax delivered another African first with the flawless live stream of Tyla’s electrifying performance at the sold-out SunBet Arena in Pretoria. 

On X afterwards, Tyla declared it, “My fav show yet.”

Now, this history-making event will reach millions more. The spectacular show airs on demand on Showmax from Thursday, 30 January 2025, in celebration of the Amapiano superstar’s 23rd birthday. The hour-long concert will also air on DStv on Mzansi Wethu (channel 163) at 20h30 on Saturday, 1 February 2025 with a repeat on Tuesday, 4 February 2025 at 16h00. Mzansi Wethu is included in all DStv packages from Access and up. Tyla Live will also appear on other DStv channels across the continent.

Move quickly to secure tickets for the almost-sold-out “Pre-Valentine’s Bollywood Musical Evening” on Saturday, 08 February 2025, which promises to be a night of glitz, glamour, songs and choreography in true Bollywood style.

Two live bands with vocalists will provide the music for the evening, which is an annual highlight on the calendar. In 2024, it took place in Sibaya’s Imbizo Conference Centre; this year, it will be bigger and better in the seated environment of the iZulu Theatre at Sibaya Casino & Entertainment World.
