Ndlovu Youth Choir Announces 2023 SA Tour

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing the Ndlovu Youth Choir perform at corporate events twice before, and they are truly talented! Now you can see them live in concert!

Following on from the phenomenal sold out success of the Ndlovu Youth Choir in Concert in Johannesburg and Cape Town in 2022, local promoter Showtime Management is pleased to announce the return of Ndlovu Youth Choir for five shows only in each city. 

The Ndlovu Youth Choir’s SA Tour kicks off at Montecasino’s Teatro on Friday 25 August at 7:30pm followed by two performances on Saturday 26 August at 3pm and 7:30pm and two shows on Sunday, 27 August at 2pm and 6pm. Cape Town concerts at the Artscape take place on Friday, 13 October at 7:30pm;  Saturday, 14 October at 3pm at 7:30pm and Sunday, 15 October at 2pm and 6pm. Tickets are now on sale at www.showtime.co.za or Ticketmaster.co.za.

Since its inception in 2009, the Ndlovu Youth Choir has become one of South Africa’s most treasured choral groups, also recognised globally for their unique sound, with recent tours across the USA and forthcoming tours to Germany and the Netherlands, which includes performances at the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam and the Carnegie Hall Summer Festival in Bryant Park, New York.

True Tales of Sex, Success and Sex in the City. Meet Candace Bushnell – The real Carrie Bradshaw

Leading local show promoter and producer, Showtime Management, is bringing iconic author and creator of Sex and The City, Candace Bushnell, to South Africa in her acclaimed one-woman show “True Tales of Sex, Success and Sex in the City” for four special performances in both Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Starting at Montecasino’s Teatro on Friday, 22 September at 8pm followed by weekend performances on  Saturday 23 September at 3pm & 8pm and Sunday 24 September at 3 pm; thereafter the show then moves to Artscape Theatre Centre for four shows beginning on Friday 29 September at 8pm; Saturday to 30 September at 3pm and 8pm ending on Sunday 01 October at 3pm. In True Tales of Sex, Success and Sex in the City, the original Carrie Bradshaw takes us on a whirlwind tour of New York City, from Studio 54 to Sex and The City to Lipstick Jungle and beyond, sharing her remarkable philosophy through stories of fashion, literature, and sex while pouring Cosmos in Manolos.

From her arrival in New York City alone with $20 in her pocket, to working her way up the ladder, to secrets behind the creation of  SEX AND THE CITY and finding herself single again in her 50’s … the always provocative Candace Bushnell shares her fabulous philosophy through stories of fashion, literature, sex, and New York City, while pouring Cosmos in Manolos.

Father’s Day Lunch at The Maslow in Sandton

Set in lush green gardens, the four-star hotel in the heart of the Sandton business district is the ideal place to honour your dad and celebrate the paternal bond.

Live entertainment by George Sax & Sianne, a harmonious combination of live sax and vocals, will play in the background. 

“Join us for a legendary braai buffet feast, served in the Lacuna Bistro,” said The Maslow’s General Manager, Herman Swart. The three-course buffet includes salads such as watermelon, mint and feta; caprese salad with basil pesto; pomegranate Waldorf salad potato salad, mains of chargrilled fillet steak, game sosaties, BBQ chicken wings, garlic and herb chicken drumsticks and beef boerewors, with sides of corn on the cob, baked potatoes, pap, rice, chakalaka and seasonal vegetables.
