I’m a fan of cruise liners – I won a Mediterranean cruise in 1997 and also done the Durban – Portuguese Islands in Mozambique – Durban route, about 5 years ago. Cruising is an all-in-one combo – you get the food, drinks, accommodation, entertainment and fun in the sun and sand! And with Oh Ship! the cherry on top is that you get 72 hours of some of South Africa’s top DJs and comedians, to keep you entertained, while you sip on our sangria.

In 1991, two students from Pietermaritzburg, in KwaZulu Natal, decided to start Debonairs Pizza. Now, 25 years on, the South African franchise is celebrating the opening of its 600th store, in Botshabelo near Bloemfontein, in the Free State, on 28 November 2016.

Dolci Cafe Review
I recently discovered a quaint little cafe in Craighall Park, Johannesburg, called Dolci Cafe, that is perfect for an intimate breakfast or lunch, kitchen tea or baby shower.
Headed by husband and wife team Clayton Boyd and Jackie Righi-Boyd, Dolci is an Italian café, pastry shop and baking boutique dedicated to authentic foods, the highest available quality products and a mouthwatering selection of artisan cakes and cupcakes.

Attendants to the annual Mercedes-Benz Bokeh South African International Fashion Film Festival will not only be experiencing a fabulously fashionable event including, awards, film screenings and workshops, but they will also be privy to an exclusive unveiling of a revolutionary 3-D printed clothing range from Modeclix. The dresses are created by Dr Shaun Borstrock from the University of Herfordshire in the UK in collaboration with Prof Mark Bloomfield from Electroboom and for the first time, offer a wearable 3-D printed clothing range. The Modeclix collection, featuring eight dresses and two headpieces, is a major breakthrough in 3-D printing and garment technology. Previous 3-D printed clothes were very structured and rigid this new range from Modeclix is uniquely customizable and flexible, mimicking the movement and drape of fabric.
Lip Sync Battle Africa
It seems like Lip Sync Battle (LSB) has taken the world by storm. Already in season 2 in the USA, the entertaining show entails two celebrities “battling” it out for the LSB champ belt, by miming to well known songs. The audience determines the winner by how loudly they cheer. It’s all fun and games on LSB, and very “tongue in cheek” when it comes to the celebrity feuds, as they provoke each other in the rounds of two songs each.
