A Magical Media Night with Mo Magic

I first heard about Mo Magic when my husband was working on a show called “Holiday Swap” about 3 years ago, and Mo was a contestant. I was told about his “mind magic tricks” and spoon bending, so I was well intrigued when I got an invite to the media launch, which we attended last night. We all need a bit of magical delight in our lives, now and again, so this was welcomed.

It seems like Lip Sync Battle (LSB) has taken the world by storm. Already in season 2 in the USA, the entertaining show entails two celebrities “battling” it out for the LSB champ belt, by miming to well known songs. The audience determines the winner by how loudly they cheer. It’s all fun and games on LSB, and very “tongue in cheek” when it comes to the celebrity feuds, as they provoke each other in the rounds of two songs each.

Kevin Hart Takes South Africa in March

Kevin HartI am a fan of Real Husbands of Hollywood, a show that can best be described as a mockumentary & parody of similar titles in the “reality” genre. It features Kevin Hart in the lead, playing a version of himself, together with his best friends in Tinsel Town, all hustling their way to the top of the entertainment food chain, with Kevin’s character always trying to one-up his friends, which lead to the creation of the term “mitch” (male b$%*h).
