I recently attended the Dressed To Give Fashion Show sponsored by Luminance. Here are my favourite looks from the event and some notes on what went down…

  • Dressed To Give was a charity fashion show with proceeds going to women & children in risk and the Lupus Foundation, sponsored by Luminance.
  • The fashion show was produced by international producer Jan Malan.

The hair care industry worldwide is an enormous business. From products, hair stylists to appliances and hair pieces, it seems like a niche market can be found anywhere in the world, because we all need to wash our hair, right?

Usually,  I leave my semi-curly hair to its own devices on the weekends, and blow it out for work on week days. Either way, my products keep changing as I experiment with what works best – a hair brand slut, of sorts.

Dressed To Give – Charity Fashion Show

In what has been dubbed as the “fashion event of the year,” Luminance has partnered with WIZO and the Lupus Foundation to ensure that you are “Dressed to Give”’ for charity on Sunday, 26 March 2017, at The Reserve in Illovo, Johannesburg. I bought my very first copy of Cosmopolitan (South Africa) magazine in 1990. In fact, I still have the copy somewhere, and I’ve been a dedicated “Fun, Fearless Female” ever since.

So I was “over the moon” when I found out that the new reality show, “So Cosmo” will be on E! Entertainment very soon. The 20 minute preview special is currently on the DSTV loop, having started on 1 March.
