This is hard to believe, but clothes can now be created on 3D printers. What next?

Attendants to the annual Mercedes-Benz Bokeh South African International Fashion Film Festival will not only be experiencing a fabulously fashionable event including, awards, film screenings and workshops, but they will also be privy to an exclusive unveiling of a revolutionary 3-D printed clothing range from Modeclix. H & M Opens in Sandton City

Hm-logo-1-

I attended the media launch of the Johannesburg branch of H&M last week, which officially opened in Sandton City on Saturday, 7 November. The Balmain X collaboration with H&M has been a worldwide success, if the international media is anything to go by, with the Paris, New York and yes, the local branches, having sold out in a matter of minutes.

I witnessed this first hand, at the launch evening last week. The doors opened at 19h00 and by 19h27 the Balmain racks were empty!

The prices are very attractive and affordable for most items. There are some statements pieces that retail for around R450, such as this little number that I have my eye on.

Here’s some more info about what to expect come November 2015.

H & M, Hennes and Mauritz (Pty) Ltd, will open their first Gauteng-based store at 11:00am on 7 November 2015, just weeks after opening the first South African store in Cape Town in October.
