Embrace Your Natural Hair at #ClicksCurls JHB

 

I recently had my hair highlighted, after researching and being inspired by Pinterest boards, featuring the luscious hombre locks of Jessica Alba. I really love her style, both her dress sense and her hair styles. With screen shots in hand, I headed off to my sister-in-law (@hairbyshafia) who is also my award winning hair stylist.

Magical Moments With The Illusionists

After record breaking runs in New York, London and Asia, The Illusionists Direct from Broadway will be in South Africa for the first time ever, opening at GrandWest on Wednesday, 07 February 2018 for a limited season ending on Sunday, 11 February 2018. Christmas at Sandton City

If you are like me, and you don’t have plans to leave Johannesburg or South Africa for the festive season, then best you check out what you can do in Jozi while everyone else is soaking up the sun on some island somewhere.

If you’re stuck here, then you may as well enjoy it – less traffic, more parking spots and better service at restaurants, not to mention all the festive fun that Sandton  City is offering.

Comedian Robby Collins presents “Son of Carol”

I was one of a select few media, who was invited to a preview of Comedian Robby Collins‘ one man show called “Son of Carol” a few days ago. In case you didn’t know, the Goliath and Goliath Comedy Club now also has an additional venue in Braamfontein, in Johannesburg, downstairs at the Bannister Hotel, and this was the venue for the showcase.

Rock of Ages at the Lyric Theatre #RocktheCity

I saw the movie version of Rock of Ages back in 2012. It starred Tom Cruise at Stacee Jaxx, Julianne Hough as Sherrie Christian and Alec Baldwin as Dennis Dupree.

Now, the theatre production of Rock of Ages is currently on at the Lyric Theatre at Gold Reef City in Johannesburg, and I attended the media preview last week.
