Milan based Fashion heritage brand, DOLCE AND GABBANA’S SPRING/SUMMER 2023 show was a stunning affair that left attendees in awe of the brand’s innovative and unique approach to fashion. The runway show featured over 75 stunning looks, each one more impressive than the last. But it wasn’t just the fashion that impressed the audience, it was also the star-studded guest list that included some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. So, it goes without saying that having TYLA sitting front row was an incredible moment! It was TYLA’s first-ever fashion debut, and she did it big! DOLCE AND GABBANA seated South African rising pop star TYLA front row right next to global icons Kim Kardashian and J Balvin. She attended the show wearing a vintage archived look from the early 90s.

The photos of her seated next to Kim Kardashian were shared widely on social media, further cementing her status as a rising pop star. Tyla broke the internet with her jaw-dropping avant-garde look for the show which garnered attention from new fans worldwide. She had everyone stunned by her beauty with many asking on TikTok “Who is that girl next to Kim?”

After the show TYLA attended a star-studded exclusive dinner outside the iconic Duomo di Milano, where she mingled with Kim Kardashian, J Balvin, Ashley Graham, June Ambrose and other A-list attendees, including top International Editors in Chief, notable stylists, and market editors. The rising pop star truly exhibited signs of her star power, impressing everyone she met.

To cap off the night, TYLA performed at the DOLCE AND GABBANA after-party, outfitted in a stunning bustier from Kim Kardashian’s 2023 DOLCE AND GABBANA Spring Ready-to-Wear collaboration collection. It’s never easy performing for a fashion crowd, especially as a new artist, but TYLA killed it, performing her single ‘Been Thinking’ and showing off her sultry dance moves on the cobbled-stoned floors. Photographers captured her every move as she danced while engaging and captivating the audience and she ended the night by walking out to photographers clamoring to take her photo!

Tyla – Been Thinking (Official Music Video)

Tyla’s music pushes boundaries. Infused with her vibrant personality, her songs offer an innovative take on pop and R&B, shimmering with the euphoria of South African amapiano, and an otherworldly approach to production that makes every track feel like something totally new. The Johannesburg native introduced herself internationally with her debut “Getting Late” featuring Kooldrink, and “To Last,” her new singles via Epic Records, push her artistry forward and solidify her versatility as she bounds toward her goal. But despite her big dreams, Tyla is doing her best to remain carefree. She never anticipated that “Getting Late” would permeate beyond South Africa, much less reach the U.S., but realized something was happening when people all over the world were making TikToks to the song, eventually resulting in millions of streams. Tyla’s emotionally rich music began when she was just 12, penning songs in her diary, which led to writing and singing more seriously as a high schooler. Ever since, she’s been guided by her intuition, which has her primed to build out her fan base and maximize her reach. She’s focused on the year ahead, performing and crafting her debut studio album, with the same intention from when she began. Signed to Epic Records through a joint venture with Johannesburg/New York-based Fax Records, and co-managed by We Make Music and Africa Creative Agency, Tyla is poised to achieve international dominance with style, soul, and spirit.
