I was pleasantly surprised when an invite for the Land Rover Africa Cup 2014 Polo Tournament popped into my inbox. The first thing I thought was “What does one wear to a polo match?” After some “research” I was relieved to see that it did not really involve fascinators and the like. But that did not stop Jen Su from wearing one. Of course, unusual hats are her trademark, and I bet that she has Philip Treacy and Albertus Swanepoel (renowned milliners) on speed dial.

Lovisa Birdcage Earrings – something to chirp about
I first spotted a black and white version of these really delicate and beautiful birdcage earrings on a woman in a restaurant a while back, and I immediately made a mental note to keep my eyes peeled for them in the shops.
Happy that I discovered happy.me bubble tea
Recently, a new bubble tea place opened down the road from where I live. I had never tried bubble tea before, but the first thing that attracted me to it, was the yellow logo and then the name, happy.me – I just love it, so bright, positive and welcoming.
But the best was yet to come – after surveying the very extensive menu of bubble teas, coffees (both hot and cold), yoghurts, smoothies and snow ice called Snoh, I decided to try the Rooibos Peach tea with yoghurt popping pearls. What ambrosial delight!

I’ve always adored the gorgeous jewellery worn by Jennifer Aniston, in her movies and in person. I even created a wish list – that Gold Leaf necklace her character wore in “The Break Up” and the Wish Bone Necklace from “She’s just not that into you” – the list is endless.
