Join the 2025 Pondo Trail Run for Conservation

The PONDO Trail Run is back for 2025, once again inviting trail runners to experience one of the world’s last untouched coastlines while making a tangible difference in conservation and community upliftment. Taking place from 28th May to 1st June, this exclusive event will see participants traverse the remote and rugged northern section of the Wild Coast – a region renowned for its dramatic cliffs, unspoiled beaches, and extraordinary biodiversity, with over 150 plant species found nowhere else on Earth.

Hosted by Wild Child Africa, the PONDO Trail Run is a three-day journey of exploration and immersion in this breathtaking landscape. Runners will once again gather at the Wild Coast Sun for registration, where they will also drop off donations for our Gift of Warmth initiative—donating winter essentials to the local communities through our ongoing partnership with the resort.

2024 runners deliver “Gift of Warmth” donations to local school children in Pondoland.

Top Winners of the 12th Annual Savanna Comics’ Choice Comedy Awards

South Africa’s biggest comedy night lit up The Lyric Theatre last night, as the country’s top comedic talent gathered for the 12th Annual Savanna Comics’ Choice Comedy Awards. Presented in partnership with Savanna Premium Cider, Mrs. Ball’s, One-eyed Jack, and Comedy Central, this year’s show proved that when it comes to delivering world class humour, Comics Do It Best.
