Montecasino was abuzz last Thursday night with the launch of its newest, exquisite restaurant called 3Sixty Liquid Lounge.
We were greeted by ladies dressed like butterflies and welcome drinks, and then lead to our tables by very helpful staff.
The MC for the night was TV personality Dalen Lance of Kyknet’s Dagbreek. He kept the crowds entertained along with the lovely ladies from Sterling EQ.
My night got off to an even better start when a lady dressed in pink complimented my 50’s style outfit (a good buy from Jo Borkett) that went well with my granny’s vintage pearl studded purse, circa 1959.
We were treated to miniature versions of some of the dishes that 3Sixty serves, ranging from starters to desserts – all were ambrosial, especially the sushi.
Guests were able to take photos with the 3Sixty background, get them printed instantly and then they were emailed to us as well. These photos were then posted on Montecasino’s Facebook page. Well done to Montecasino’s social media team, who also ReTweeted messages with the hashtag #3Sixty.
The restaurant has a modern open kitchen, which is really nifty, as you get to see the chef’s creating the masterpieces and the smells wafting past one’s nostrils were mouth-watering.
SAPA were amongst the vast media covering the event, and I caught them interviewing DJ Dino Bravo and actor and musician Clint Brink, who recently collaborated on the former’s latest single called “Hands Up.”
All in all, it was a wonderfully organized event, so hats off the PR lasses from Strategy PR.
Here is a clip that sums up the night’s event:
