From the return of the award-winning Momo’s Magical Adventure, to exquisite festive lights, extended trading hours, gift wrapping for a cause, and an array of exciting festive experiences, Sandton City is set to make this holiday season truly unforgettable.

The enchanting Momo’s Magical Adventure is back with a bold new storyline, running from 5 December 2024 to 5 January 2025, in collaboration with Standard Bank Private. In this year’s production, Momo and her trusty sidekick, Mack the Meerkat, embark on a cosmic journey filled with starlit skies, deep-sea magic, and celestial friends like Bertie-Stargazer the Unicorn and Polly the Northern Star. With performances in a uniquely designed theatrical tent in the centre court outside Checkers, this immersive children’s theatre show is a visual and emotional feast for the whole family.

Sandton City Set For A Magical Festive Season

The trees are up, the lights are on, and the joyful hum of gift wrapping has begun. Sandton City, Africa’s premier shopping destination, is orchestrating a symphony of excitement to ensure this festive season surpasses all expectations.

For starters, a uniquely crafted children’s’ theatre production, Momo’s Magical Adventure, is set to enchant shoppers of all ages, this coming holiday. Shows have started in a bespoke crafted tent in the centre court outside Checkers and will run until 7 January 2024. In this heart-warming tale, Momo’s friends have left Johannesburg for the summer holidays to go to the sea and she’s the only one left in the big city. Time has passed by slowly, but Momo’s favourite night of the year has finally arrived- it’s Christmas Eve! Four live performances of this charming production will take place daily at 10.30am, 12.30pm, 3.30pm and 5.30pm, from Tuesday to Sunday. Tickets are now available on the Sandton City website and selling fast.
