From the creators of The Luxurious Marble Circus, comes an extraordinary new chapter. The Magical Marble Family Fest, a first-of-its-kind, wonder-filled world made for families to play, explore and rediscover joy, together. 

Taking place on 9 and 10 May 2026 at James & Ethel Gray Park, and presented by Grid Worldwide, G&G – The Goosebumps Company, The Marble Group, and Investec, this two-day festival invites children, teens, parents, grandparents, and every curious heart in between, into a place where imagination runs wild and magic feels real. 

The Magical Marble Family Fest is a joyful spin-off of the celebrated Luxurious Marble Circus, but this time, the magic has been reimagined through the eyes of a child. A luxurious, multi-sensory universe awaits, filled with music, theatre, taste, movement, play and a little mischief. Because luxury isn’t about things, it’s about moments, and we all know that the best ones are shared. 

Guiding families through this enchanting world is a cast of funtastical characters, each one bubbling with personality. From Nunu the brave little leopard, to Zaza the fabulously chic trendsetter, and Slo Mo the coolest tortoise in town, these characters aren’t just mascots; they are the heartbeat of the festival story, guiding families through realms of curiosity, colour and play. 

Across the Festival, families will encounter pockets of delight waiting to be discovered. From soft play to silent disco, face painting to e-gaming, glow in the dark magic to larger-than-life fun, every corner hums with imagination and possibility for children of all ages. 

Expect playful sports arenas and challenge zones, mini markets filled with collectables and curiosities, creative corners where hands can build, paint or design, and high energy spaces designed just for teens. Whether it’s temporary tattoos, a cupcake station, an epic slide or a U18 dance floor, the festival is alive with moments that invite every generation to play.

Filled with experiences you won’t find anywhere else in South Africa, explorers big and small can enjoy a custom-built carousel unlike anything seen before, a Willy Wonka-inspired sweet emporium with chocolate fountains, candy wheel, and an enchanted emporium of one-of-a-kind festival keepsakes, amongst many other sparkly spaces.   

With Sunday falling on Mother’s Day, explorers can also expect a sprinkle of extra magic made just for moms and minders. Gentle surprises, playful moments, and pockets of togetherness will fill the day with warmth and wonder, inviting families to celebrate those who make the world feel like home. 

Of course, firm favourites from The Luxurious Marble Circus return – but with a ticklesome twist. The Uncaged Carousel becomes a bar for milkshakes and funtails, and the Pantry inspired Tasting Station will serve an array of family-friendly eats. 

As tweens and teens explore, there are also areas for those over 18 but still young at heart. Guests can expect double-decker bars with panoramic stage views overlooking the oval. Designed to blend indulgence with imagination, these bars promise the best seat in the house for those who like their magic with a splash of something special. 

At the heart of it all is a storybook-inspired main stage, alive from morning until night with music of local and international acts, characters, comedy, and Goosebump Moments crafted to leave families spellbound.

Care and comfort have been thoughtfully woven into The Magical Marble Family Fest experience. Pram parking lots, nappy-changing nooks, and free-play areas are available under staff observance for any curious and independent tweens and teens. A tech-driven Together Tag system helps keep explorers safe with pre-loaded details and spending money, and tag-in-and-out systems safely monitor movement in the smaller explorer zones. Inclusive design ensures every child, including those with additional needs, can enjoy the magic at their own pace. The whole festival is set up so families can relax, explore, and enjoy the day with confidence.
