Enthusiastic attendees at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event were treated to the world premiere of the dark and mysterious new trailer and poster for Marvel Studios’ “Agatha All Along.” The event featured an electrifying on-stage performance by the series’ cast members, including Kathryn Hahn, Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Debra Jo Rupp, and Patti LuPone, who performed the Sacred Chant version of the series’ theme song, “The Ballad of the Witches’ Road.” The performance was composed by Oscar®-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. The duo, alongside cast member Aubrey Plaza, joined Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige on stage for the momentous reveal.

The newly released trailer, now available for download and sharing, offers fans an intriguing glimpse into the upcoming series, which will stream exclusively on Disney+ in South Africa starting September 19. The first two episodes will available on launch day.

“Agatha All Along” follows the infamous Agatha Harkness as she navigates life after losing her powers, thanks to a mysterious goth teenager who frees her from a distorted spell. Intrigued by his plea, Agatha agrees to guide him on the legendary Witches’ Road—a perilous magical gauntlet that promises to restore what witches have lost if they can survive its trials. Together, Agatha and her newfound ally form a desperate coven and embark on a treacherous journey down The Road.

The series is executive produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Mary Livanos, and Jac Schaeffer, who also serves as head writer and directed three episodes. Rachel Goldberg and Gandja Monteiro each direct three episodes of this original live-action series.
